so del.icio.us has been going down a fair bit this week, and dealing with its absence has made me realize how much it has changed my browsing habits in a very, very short period of time. i really only started using it a few weeks ago – for some reason, i was so hung up on the potential benefits that tagging offers to THE WORLD AT LARGE that i hadn’t quite grokked the idea that it would also just make my own life a helluva lot easier. this is funny, really, and a bit embarassing for someone who professes an interest in interaction design, especially someone who talks a lot about this shiny idea that the new structure of the universe shalt be built out of the accumulation of the detritus that results from people going about their own business.
