one way… or another

howdy.

tomorrow i am going to discover whether i will be given the chance to wash sushi dishes for two weeks in exchange for some much needed funds for the final push, and then i plan to spend some time at the national history, science, and/or victoria & albert museums, all of which are next to one another and near to where i am going for the interview.

this is important because i am realizing that my time in london is winding down, so all that stuff i’ve been putting off doing until i have more money? well, it’s now or never.

i’ll try to take a few pictures.

in other events, i haven’t been Totally slacking in all departments even though i have been holed up in the house a bit out of a desire to save money, and also because my schedule got flipped backwards by working in a nightclub until the late early morning, so i have been sleeping late and it gets dark here early, so by the time i’m like “what today?” it’s basically dusk, and that makes it less compelling to undertake a tourist mission.

anyway, i submitted a final design to that bonnaroo contest, submitted an application to a year-long internship program in cuernavaca, mexico, worked on (and should submit today or so) a scholarship application for, um… a party (don’t you go to any parties that hand out scholarships?), cooked a bit more indian food, and am discussing a potentially exciting short-term job for when i get back with tiffanie and christy reed. oh, and i found that sushi job. and today i watched ice age, so i’m this much closer to being a culturally literate three year old.

i mean, a three year old from two years ago…

whatever, i’m doing things!
like a little ant.
except not with the lifting things ten times my weight.
that would result in a negative outcome.

the point is some options are opening up, and i didn’t want you to worry since my last post was a want ad. :)

so more news soon.
after i know whether i’m staying to wash sushi dishes, i should be thinking about plane tickets and stuff, and that’s exciting.

and i have a picture of some starburst to post.

the default starburst here has purple and green.

so i know you’re holding your breath for that one.

    It’s like you’re psychic!

I guess purple and green would be grape and lime? You’re talking about the gross little candy right? Not some ultra-obscure English something? At any rate, it still sounds worthy of a photo.
