I read Atlas Shrugged last year. Ayn Rand should stick to philosophy and not try to pass philosophy off as a novel. The characters were paper thin, the writing was tediously wordy, and the ending, well, ugh!
Rand’s dead, you know. But yeah, she wrote like she expected someone to treat her novels like scripture. Gleaning bits of ethics from the subtle actions of characters. Which they did. Boring people. And then Helen Mirren did that movie.
